Whole Wheat Molasses Breakfast Bread

Itís an interesting quick bread since thereís both whole wheat flour and cornmeal in there, making it all deep and earthy tasting. Your wet ingredients are just buttermilk and molasses. Lots of thick, gooey molasses. Thereís no other sugar in it so it turns out somewhere in between savoury and sweet. Itís not going to taste how you expect so wrap your head around that fact now.

Onion Cake - 1/4 of a cake

Delicious served with pork saute and peanut sauce

KK Asparagus Carbonara with Fried Eggs

A wonderful pasta with asparagus and cilantro aioli (you could substitute basil for the cilantro).
Served w/ 3 large seared scallops per serving.
Sprinkle with grated parmesan

Salsa Lisa Chicken (1 serving 1cup)

We love this chicken dish topped with sharp cheddar and sour cream on top of basmatic rice. Also nice with black beans and toasted corn tortilla strips.(Note the extras here are not included in the calorie count

Sauteed Kale w/ Coconut milk - 1.5 cups serving

This is delicious served with plank grilled salmon and couscous.

Chicken Aspargus Roll-ups

These are terrific served with a pan sauce from the drippings or a hollandaise sauce.

Single batch - makes small cookies - use a sugar spoon
