my twist on a meat loaf
very simple cabbage rolls.
just a soup I threw together the other day with some veggies we had and a pice of left over chcken for flavor. Cooking veggies in bigger chunks helps retain the nutrients also. You caould use pretty much ANY variation of this recipe. Add or take away what ever you have fresh. What a great way to clear out the last of the weeks veggies and make a healthy easy meal. Great with corn bread.
another recipe for a noodle/rice topping
bisquick heart smart pancakes with a little extra fiber and folic acid. My family like a splash of vanilla in our pancakes. I also cut the box recipe down to about half so that it suits our needs. (and also I use lactaid as I have milk intolerance so the nutritional values maybe slightly different)
I love to throw these together for a treat. To go over pancakes, oatmeal, icecream or even just by them selfs.
My twist on tuna noodle casserol. You make the sauce seperat and pour over your noodles or rice on each plate. This way the ratio of tuna to noodle is more fair. I always feel like in the casserol you never get any tuna. I serve it over half a cup of couscous for each person. For us it serves about 3.5. Also we use lacataid instead of regular milk as regular milk hurts my tummy.

Some where for me to save all the great recipes I find here on spark :) And maybe add a few of my own.
Some of my less healthy recipes. I do NOT condone eating these kinds of foods regularly. Save them for that special morning before the big test or birthday dinner.
