eat alone or filler for tacos!
This is a variation of Weight Watchers recipe I found in the magazine "Five Ingredient 15 Minute Recipes"
This is revised from the book/magazine Weight Watchers Five Ingredient 15 Minute Recipes.
Please see MY variation before following recipe, because I really believe this may have made my recipe rock with flavor, but you may still want to do it the original way, so I put the original above and the additions below. This calculated recipe includes MY variation.
Easy and yummy. Similar to Alton Brown's recipe but with a little less fat. Alton also roasts the squash in the oven basted with butter first. Roasting first definitely makes this soup better but it will still be good without. Adding half and half makes it great, but it's actually quite good without it!
Got this recipe out Martha Stewart magazine. I replaced cod with tilapia. I also add about a half teaspoon of chili paste for a little kick.
Here's a fun homemade individual artisan pizza that quick to make and easy on the waist! We love making them and they will make you feel (almost) like you never need to go out! (Especially because you know exactly how many calories you are eating)
Use Publix pizza dough, found in the bakery section.
Great dessert idea for anytime of the day! A little pain to make them, but fun to eat!
Using Pilsbury Cake Mix, these turn out pretty good. Still working on this recipe, but initally, I'm quite satisfied with the results.
I have not included the nutritional info for filling here because you may want to use something different. Suggestions are marshmallow fluff, Nutella, cream cheese, peanut butter and combinations of any of those! (Marshmallow creme is 50 calories for 2 Tbls) See other recipes for Whoopie pie filling!
We make these for our "Caribbean Night". We grill chicken kabobs or tilapia or shrimp. They go with everything. Serve with Jasmine rice and my mango salsa! Great with or without mango, but pineapple seems to really make it.
I created this recipe after we got tired of driving 30 miles to a local favorite! This one is probably healthier anyway.
Double the recipe because you will want to eat it again tomorrow!
This is our friend Bo's Crab Dip recipe, but I've modified it to have slightly less guilt associated with eating it!
Normally, you would top with slivered almonds, but I left them off the recipe so you could calculate for your own tracker!
Also, you can use lowfat cream cheese for only 49 calories per serving if you want a little closer to the full fat authentic flavor!
This is an ultra quick recipe and you can even use precooked shrimp to make it quicker!
The blending of the fresh jalepeno and sundried tomato with just a hint of olive oil makes this great lowfat recipe a sure fire winner!
we eat salsa almost daily. I found this on epicurious to go with some grilled sea bass. It's delish with fish, chicken or beef!
From the blog Alosha's Kitchen, where she adapter her recipe from Epicurious. I use a lot more chilis than she does, and I can never find the asian ones. You can substitute serrano or jalepeno or red jalepeno or even habenero.
I also break the serving size to one cup so you can find it easier to choose your portion size.
We have had bruscetta for years. It's a staple appetizer, but most people don't crave it and moan when they bite into it. We do. It's because we use fresh ingredients from our container garden. Believe me, fresh makes a difference. Delish. Don't add salt. Trust me, doesn't need it.
a take on WW Garden Vegetable Soup, only adding barley and beef broth instead of chicken broth.
Super good, economical and healthy recipe. We found it in one of those supermarket checkstand magazines. This makes numerous meals for us for under $10 on the initial investment. Can't beat that! We only use rotisserie chicken out of convenience. You will save a lot of sodium and calories by using just boneless skinless meat, but rotisserie is just so easy!
Do you have picky man or children? Do they love chicken fingers and french fries? Well, try this recipe (originally adapted from Weight Watchers!) I guarantee they'll eat it!
Gluten Free Weight Watcher recipe. These are tiny drop cookies. Don't make this if you are prone to binging. I ate nearly the whole recipe the first time.
This is Flying Biscuit's famous Love cakes! The recipe is published on their website, and it's soooo good!
I had a feeling other recipes here on Sparkpeople weren't quite showing the calorie load that my cookies have, so I wanted to be completely honest!
I made this half batch of cookies because we wanted to have a controlled binge! LOL I only had about 1/2 cup of choc. chips anyway, but I like to add walnuts and oatmeal, so here it is!
This makes 16 really nice sized cookies, approximately one golf ball sized ball of dough. I wish I had measured the grams, but at least you know my serving size, and it's the calories are scary!....but, hey... "THE MORE YOU KNOW!"
Great Weight Watchers friendly recipe that appeals to men and kids! Also good for dinner or breakfast!
This is the recipe on the back of the Bisquick mix box. I just entered it here so you wont have to!
I know this is hardly healthy, but I grew up on it, and sometimes, you get a hankering for things! Just in case that happens to you, it's ready for you to track! Cheers! ;)
I may have to redo this recipe after I buy a new box because this old box has transfat in it! OH MY!
