Patch Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Just sweet potatoes, oil and salt, roasted in the oven 'till nice and tender. Great side. 3 servings per recipe.

You can always make substitutions for types of ingredients, I just put what we use.

Patch Popovers

Not low calorie, but good ingredients and a great side for soups and stews. A nice treat every now and again. 1 serving would be 2 large popovers. Recipe makes 6 popovers.

Patch Chicken Noodle Soup

A healthy chicken noodle soup, low/no salt. 1 cup per serving

Patch Chicken Dressing

A chicken dressing made with Patch Johnny Cake. Not low calorie, but good and hearty. Prep time will be much longer if you're not using already prepared cornbread, chicken and stock. This makes 2 large servings.

Disaster Day Pizza Crust

A simple pizza crust with no frills. Great for pizza, cheese sticks, etc. Makes 3 crusts, 8 servings each crust for a total of 24 servings for the recipe. These crusts freeze well.

Patch Whole Wheat Biscuits

Biscuits made with soft whole wheat. Makes 6 biscuits.

Hoe Cakes

A thin patty of corn and water, fried in a pan, buttered and served hot. Simple, souther, delicious!
