Low Calorie Peanut Butter (THM FP)

This is a very low calorie peanut butter made from defatted peanut flour. A yummy substitute. It is sugar free, low calorie, low fat and low carb.

Sherri's Chocolate Cake (Trim Healthy Mama- FP)

This is a very low calorie, low fat, low carb, individual sized, chocolate cake that you can make in the microwave. Best's yummy!

Baking Mix Healthy homemade version makes 36 biscuits

Tastes great and has no partially hydrogenated oils!

Homemade Chili Con Carne (Pocahantas Chili)

You can add peppers to this if you like...we don't. Good basic chili. Not too spicy. Kids like it. Apparantly this was Pocahantas's recipe (I would not put it into a history book though).

Blueberry Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Flaxseed makes it extra healthy!

baked french toast

Very yummy. A great way to use up leftover bread, or even crusts! Very filling. Needs to chill overnight.

Tuna Casserole

Yummy and easy.

Sneaky Chef Boxed Macoroni and Cheese Fix

This is a recipe from "The Sneaky Chef" cookbook. It adds a carrot and sweet potato puree to it along with one slice of american cheese and cuts the butter in half. You can't taste, smell, feel or see the difference, but it is much healthier! My kids love it, and it makes me not feel so guilty using boxed mac-n-cheese.

Healthy Fruit Smoothies with Avacado and Flax Seed

My kids love these, and so does my husband! I have served them for breakfast alongside scambled eggs (the kids energy lasts way longer on this meal than on cereal). I have even served these with supper (we've done burgers with "shakes" (really smoothies). I pour the leftovers into dixie cups and put a small piece of foil on top and then pop a popsicle stick into them and freeze for healthy popsicles! (No High Fructose Corn syrup...Yay!). My kids love these, and they are quite filling too!
