Okay, I did use butter and added oat flour and 1/2 ww flour, and brown sugar, but OMG it was delicious! The most tender, lite and flavorful cake of it's kind! I actually made small bread loaves out of it and will give them away. Healthy and delicious! Very delicate though. Wrap with care...
This was awesome! I made it exactly as the recipe said but baked it in a bundt pan. Then I made a quick glaze out of 1 c. powdered sugar, 2 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp vanilla, & 2 tbsp milk. It got rave reviews at church and from my husband.
Recipe was great.I had it warmed with a little fat free cool whip. just lovely.
I used half splenda half sugar, and only 3 apples (and even that seems like a little much), and it turned out great. I used glass pan as well, and it seemed to be done in 40 minutes.
Very good! I used butter (what I had) slightly less sugar, 2 apples and a cup of shredded zuccini (also what I had.) I was using a glass dish also, so I kept an eye on it. The cooking time was quicker (I am also at sea level) but it was moist and superb!
This is great. I use applesauce instead of fresh apples though, and i omit the salt.
This cake is delicious and fillng!
I've also made it with 2 cups of grated zucchinis instead of apples and cut back the sugar by using 2/3 cup of sugar instead of 1 for a nice breakfast cake. Thanks

I omitted the salt, and reduced the sugar calories by using half splenda, half sugar. And I used light yogurt. That cut the calories to 159 per serving, and the recipe calculater said the sodium was 50mg, but I think that was wrong, there is 2 tsp of baking soda,which comes to 169mg per serving.
