I really enjoyed this egg salad and it is low calorie.
I think using hummus is the best idea. Found Oasis brand no fat Lentil and black bean type hummus with very few calories. used.I added from your recipe(except flax) plus paprika, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, and a bit of 2% daisy cottage cheese, and a scallion. Good on its own without even a bread.
