Cranberries are not just for Thanksgiving dinner!
Often times, salt is used to offset bitterness. What is its purpose in this otherwise appealing recipe? I will omit it! Thanks for posting it.
This was awesome! My whole family loved it. I used splenda instead of sugar, added some pomegranate seeds, and the zest of two oranges. I even dumped in the rind of one orange, and it was delicious after being boiled in the cranberry sauce. My family has already requested it again for next year.
I used 1/3 cup sugar and 1/3 cup Splenda.
Turned out wonderful.
