Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This sounds okay...it needs adjustments though. Like white rice because brown is repulsive. Definitely add in some broccoli and cauliflower. And YUM panko bread crumbs on the top! Carbs are your friend!!
Can lower the carbs by grating a head of cauliflower and this veggie version of rice can easily be confused with rice and better source of antioxidants, vitamin c, iron & potassium
I skipped the bread crumbs. Used more broth. Cut the rice down. It has lots of protein. I used regular carrots and frozen peas. Added mushrooms. No bread, less rice reduced the carbs. It was very good. Might try with salmon.
very easy and quick and remember this is a main dish so calories are ok..no sides people..
ya, it's a little more calories but take out the bread crumbs and substitute cream cheese with tomato puree for more flavor and less calories!!!!!!!!!
Delish! And for you who are condemning the carbs - remember the brown rice and WHOLE WHEAT bread crumbs are the good carbs. Full of the energy you need, keeps you fuller longer and should get several servings per day. Calories are minimum - 360 for a MEAL, remember, not a side dish!
Those who think this a "lot of calories" are perhaps forgetting this would be your main dish. Your main dish would have more calories and bulk than say your fruit or vegetables; which if you are on Weight Watchers are considered as free or 0 points. What do you want? Everything isn't zero calorie..
This sounds OK but looks extremely dry! If I make this I will use have the rice and add more broth and skip the bread crumbs completely. Looks like alot of calories too and not much nuitrution.
Looks & sounds yummy.....using the BROWN RICE & WHOLE WHEAT BREAD CRUMBS saves calories....i don't care what others say.....can't wait to use this recipe....TY!!!
Too many calories.
looks good. but I feel its to high in Carbs. Maybe use broccli and califlower mix and leave out the bread crumbs. ?
