Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Cooked it on top of stove instead of crock pot. Worked great. Made mine with green beans and low sodium tomato sauce. Cut the recipe in half. We loved it and will make it again. Thank you.
The nutritional information listed here is wildly incorrect, since the "lentil" entry used is actually for cooked, not dried, lentils (Spark issue: they don't specify in database). Corrected information here: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-deta

I like it and my oldest son likes it. We add a bit of tumeric and more garlic powder. I usually add an egg, egg drop soup style to up my calorie count making it a full meal. But even then it comes under.

It's VERY filling.
I wish Spark People would list the sugar content in the nutritional info. Sugar is a HUGE culprit against the battle of weight loss and many health issues.
Connie: Sounds wonderful. Very impressive nutritional breakdown. Are the canned tomatoes 14.5 oz each, and are the 2 cups lentils dried lentils? Thanks!
