Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This was a really good recipe. I used water instead of vegetable broth and it came out great! Next time I would not use ketchup as I know there is a lot of sugar. I would use tomato sauce or puree.
Made this recipe according to the directions and it was excellent! Although next time I think I'll follow PJUNEAUVOGEL's tip and try sasla instead of ketchup, just to cut out the sugar. It tastes less like a beef-loaf and more like a chicken-pork-loaf, which was just fine and very yummy!
I left out the flax to lower the fat, used Bragg's liquid aminos instead of tamari, omitted the ketchup due to high fructose corn syrup, used fresh herbs, and used Ener g egg replacer as a binder, and flavored mine with curry :-) MMMM good! I also added finely minced onions, carrots and celery.
Decrease amount of flax as they are high in calories. The loaf was a little crumbly, may want to try adding an egg or egg substitute, may want to replace ketcup with salsa.
