Dorothy's Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients
Directions
8 cups fresh blackberrys2 cups sugar1/4 cup flour1 tsp vanilla.crust4.5 cups flour2 sticks Crisco shortening1 tsp salt 3/4 to 1 cup water
mix berry's, sugar, flour, and vanilla together,
let set
blend flour, salt and crisco together with pastry blender.
add water from 3/4 cup up to 1 cup
make a ball
divide and roll out bottom crust
crust will be thicker than a normal pie crust
put into deep dish cassarole
add berrys
roll out top
top pie, edge with foil
bake 375 degree over 30 min
remove foil
continue to bake 375 for additional 30-40 min until golden brown.
