Easy slow cook chicken / pork

Ingredients
1 envelope dry onion soup mix1 cup apricot preserves regular or sugar free4 chicken breasts or 4 pork chops
Directions
Mix onion soup mix and apricot preserves. Divide in half. Spray slow cooker with Pam or other vegetable spray. Place 4 chicken breast or 4 pork chops into slow cooker top with 1/2 of sauce mix. Cook on low for approximately 4 hours. ** Note depending on the newness of your slow cooker your time maybe less. Take other 1/2 of sauce and freeze or place in refrigerator for a meal later in the week. This sauce will make 2 meals to serve 4 people. *** You may also add green and red peppers and onion and pineapple chunks during the last hour or so for a sweet and sour chicken / pork.
