hearty tomato rice soup

Ingredients
3 - 28 oz cans tomatoes1 1/2 cup rice1/4 cup olive oil1 quart 2% milk1 bunch fresh basilrosemaryold bay seasoning1/4 cup brown sugar
Directions
Saute onions in olive oil until translucent. Add tomatoes, rice, basil and other seasonings. Cook on low heat until rice is done (may need to add up to a cup of water if tomatoes get too thick).

Puree in food processor or blender. Return to pot. Add milk and stir. Add sugar to taste.
