Pasta with Bolognese Sauce (with sweet potato puree)

Directions
Steam and puree sweet potato without skins
Chop onion and garlic
coat nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set over medium-high heat. add oil when hot and cook onion and garlic 2-3 min. Chop carrots and add to ckillet 3-4 more minutes
Increase heat, add ground meats add salt and pepper, and brown the meat
add tomatoes, broth and sugar. Reduce heat , cover and simmer for 30 min. Stir in sweet potato puree and parmesan
cook pasta in large pot of water until al dente. Drain in colander, then return pasta to the pot. Pour the warm sauce over the pasta and toss.
