Apple Salad w/grapes and pineapple

Ingredients
1 (20 oz) can unsweetened pineapple chunks1/4 c light butter1/4 c baking splenda1 T lemon juice2 T cornstarch2 T cold water1 c light mayo8 c chopped tart apples (Granny or Jonathan)2 c green grapes2 t poppy seeds
Directions
1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice; set the pineapple aside.
2. Place juice in a saucepan; add butter, sugar and lemon juice - bring to a boil.
3. Combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth; add to th saucepan, stir constantly.
4. Return to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
5. Chill
6. Stir in mayo.
7. In a large bowl, combine pineapples, apples, grapes, poppy seeds and cooked dressing.
8. Add pecans if you like (not included in nutritional info)
9. Enjoy!
