Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Ingredients
1/2 onion diced finely1 Tablespoon olive oil1 can swanson's chicken broth1 can muir glen organic tomatoes1 can Pet Fat Free Evaporated Skim Milk8 fresh basil leaves, washed 1 tsp salt1/2 tsp white pepper
Directions
Saute chopped onion in olive oil until translucent. Add the can of chicken broth and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the canned tomatoes and simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Pour into a blender and blend until pureed then add the basil and pulse a few times. Pour the puree back into the pan and add the can of evaporated milk. Add the salt and pepper and warm through.
