Ingredients
Approximately 1 lb. ground turkey breast1 can (16 oz.) tomato sauceApproximately 1 can water2 cloves garlic, minced1 cup cottage cheese (1% milkfat)0.5 cup grated parmesean cheese2 tbsp. basil1 tsp ground oregano1 tsp. ground red pepper8 oz. whole wheat penne pasta (or ziti or rigatoni), dry
Directions
Put all ingredients in a Crockpot or slow cooker; stir together. (Do not cook pasta; that is what the water is for). Set Crockpot to high and cook 4 hours. Serves 6 generously.
