Dollbabe56's Chicken Soup With Egg Noodles

Ingredients
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast64 oz. chicken broth4 celery stalks, chopped1 parsnip, peeled and chopped1 onion, chopped4 carrots, peeled and chopped12 oz. uncooked egg noodles (fine)1/2 tsp. ground allspice1/4 tsp. black pepper1 tsp. salt1 tsp. dried dillweed or 1 Tbls. fresh dill
Directions
Makes 5 servings.
Heat chicken broth. Add chicken and cook over medium high heat for 8 - 10 mins. Add veggies and seasonings. Cover and cook 8 mins. Remove chicken, set aside to cool. Add noodles to veggies and simmer until tender. Cut up chicken into bite size pieces and add to soup.

    My variation on this soup is no dill weed and parsnips. All the other seasonings and veggies, though. Just didn't have parsnips on hand! Good (fairly bland, though) for sick people. - 10/16/13
