Pickled beets

Ingredients
2 cups sliced, cooked beets1/2 cup splenda1 tablespoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon cloves1 cup bragg's cider vinegar1 cup water
Directions
Steam beets until tender. Peel and slice. Add vinegar, water, splenda, cinnamon, and cloves to a pan. Return sliced beets to the pan. Bring to a boil. Put in a bowl and store in refrigerator to marinate- about 4 hours. Makes 6 servings

    So easy to make at home,, and have control of the amount of sugar/ sweetener. This is a good recipe, much the way I remember canning beets with Mom, except now days I have latex gloves instead of pink hands. - 6/13/21
