Kalua Pork

Ingredients
6 lb. pork butt (aka shoulder) roast1-1/2 T. hawaiian sea salt 1 T. liquid smoke seasoning
Directions
Trim roast and rub all over with salt and liquid smoke seasoning (you may not use the entire amount of salt and smoke seasoning).

Place roast in large slow cooker and cook on low for 10-12 hours (may start on high for 3 hours, then lower heat for another 5-6 hours if desired).

Turn roast partway through cooking. (No need to add liquid as the drippings will keep everything moist.)

Pork is done when cooked to the point it shreds easily.
