Grandma Kady's egg in a cup

Ingredients
1 egg, poached1 slice whole wheat bread1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Directions
To poach the egg-- I bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Gently crack the egg and drop into the boiling water , slowly. Cover the pan and remove from heat. Set timer for 3 minutes.
In a large mug or bowl, break the whole wheat bread in pieces and add butter.
When egg is cooked, lift from water with slotted spoon and mix into bread and butter mixture. I like to add black pepper to mine. It looks a little weird....but every kid who tries it comes back for more.
