Favorite Bran and Fruit Muffins

Ingredients
1/2 cup Bran (I use Raisin Bran)1/2 cup Milk1/2 cup water8 prunes finely chopped1/4 cup brown sugar2 eggs1 cup flour1/2 cup wheat flour2 tsp baking powder1 tsp Nutmeg1 tsp cinnamon1/4 cup applesauce1/2 cup Raisins.1 apple peeled and chopped
Directions
Chop prunes fine, heat water in microwave for 2 min. Put Raisins and prunes in hot water and allow to stand 10 min. At the same time pour milk over bran cereal and allow to stand 10 min.
mix all dry ingredients and all wet ingredients seperately then combine. Mix till wet do not overstir.
When I add the apple I have to add another cup of flour.
Bake at 425 for 15-20 min.
If you make a loaf instead of muffins it takes 5 min longer to cook.
