Strawberry/almond Smoothies

Ingredients
4 ounces blanched almonds2 cups frozen organic strawberries1 cup unsweetened green tea1/4 cup raw local honey or agave nectar4 ounces pasteurized egg whites1/2 cup organic low fat Greek or regular plain yogurt
Directions
In a blender place the almonds and pulse to crush the nuts then add frozen berries and green tea. Pulse to break up the fruit. Add the honey, egg whites and yogurt and blend until a smooth shake-like consistency. Add more green tea or water if the mixtures has trouble blending.

Make vegan by substituting silken soy tofu for yogurt and omitting the egg whites.
