Sour cherry clafoutis

Ingredients
- fresh red sour cherries, pitted 500 grams - milk, 1%, 1 cup - plain (all-purpose) white flour, 60 g - granulated Sugar, 45 grams - brown Sugar, 45 grams - eggs, fresh, lightly beaten, 4 large - butter, unsalted, melted, 25 grams - brown Sugar, approximately 2 Tbs, for sprinkling
Directions
Preheat the oven to a moderate 180 oC. Brush a shallow ceramic pie plate with a little of the butter.
Spread the cherries into the dish in a single layer.
Sift the flour into a medium-sized bowl, add the sugars and make a well in the center.
Combine the eggs with milk and remaining melted butter, and gradually add the mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth and free of lumps.
Pour the batter over the fruit and bake for 35 minutes.
Sprinkle brown sugar over the dessert and grill for 3 minutes, so that it gets a nice golden color.
Best served immediately, while still risen.
