Bowtie Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce

5 plum tomatoes1 lb asparagus1/4 lb thinkly sliced prosciutto or smoked ham slice1 lb dry bowtie pasta1/4 cup olive oil1 cup heavy cream1/2 cup coarsely chopped basil1/4 cup freshly grated parm cheese1 T minced garlic
Dice tomatoes, cut ham into strips, mince garlic. Sautee garlic & ham for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes & continue to sautee until tomatoes start to break down, add the heavy cream. Simmer. In the meantime, lightly steam asparagus & cut into 1" pieces & cook pasta according to box directions. Drain Pasta, add sauce, asparagus. Top with cheese & chopped fresh basil.
