Hobo Dinners

1 lb 93% fat free ground beef1 cup oatmeal, quick cooking3 egg whites1/4 heavy cream1/2 tablespoon A1 Steak Sauce1/2 tablespoon Heinz 57 Sauce1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce1 tablespoon garlic powder1 teaspoon onion powder4 cups sliced sweet potato (can be slice french fry style)12 medium baby carrots (sliced or cut lengthwise)
Preheat oven to 350, or heat grill on high.
Mix first 9 ingredients, divide evenly into 4 burgers. Place each burger in the middle of a 12 in x 24 in piece of extra heavy duty aluminum foil, top with sweet potato and carrots. Brings ends of foil together, fold or roll tightly down to food, and then fold or roll sides of foil to edges of food. Place in oven or on grill for about 30 - 45 minutes or until foil pouches have expanded. Open, enjoy, and throw away the plate.

haha, wow, I TOTALLY remember hobo packs, we'd make them when we were camping, very easy to make. Except we didn't use any extras in the meat, just meat, maybe salt and pepper, some potatoes, corn and random vegetables (I kind of like canned tomatoes in mine). - 7/27/10

I added the extras in the meat because my youngest has a hard chewing meats and it makes it more tender. I've been eating it that way so long now that I dont want it any other way.
