Basic Cheese Ball

Ingredients
1/2 pkg. lowfat cream cheese (1/2 cup)1/2 C. Kroger 2% shredded lowfat cheese 1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce or liquid smokedash onion powder and garlic powder (optional)finely chopped parsley - to taste1/4 cup chopped nuts (I used almonds)
Directions
Combine all ingredients except nuts and shape into a ball using wet hands. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill until quite firm. Unwrap and roll ball in chopped nuts. Serve with an assortment of crackers, veggies and fruit.



*Notes: Now, that's just the basics. You can make a variety of flavors by changing up the cheese you use. use your imagination and your taste to guide you, but some favorites of mine are: Swiss Almond (using shredded Swiss and rolling in sliced almonds.) Hot Pepper (using hot or super hot pepper cheese, adding a dash of hot pepper sauce and 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper) Smoked Cheddar Pecan (using smoked cheddar, or medium cheddar and a drop or two of liquid smoke)
