Easy Scones

  • Number of Servings: 16
Ingredients
2 c flour1 tbsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt2 tbsp sugar1 tsp cinnamon5 tbsp butter, cold and cut into chunks1 c heavy cream1 c blueberries **can substitute raisins, cranberries, nuts, etc for berries
Directions
Sift dry ingredients
Cut butter into flour
Make "well" in center, add heavy cream
Using fork, incorporate cream into flour mixture
Add fruit, working into dough w hands
Shape dough onto cutting board into large square, cut into smaller squares and triangles

Bake at 400 degrees
15 - 20 min, or until golden
