Italian Tomato and Pasta Salad

12 oz whole wheat rotini (Barilla) cooked2 (15 oz) cans diced tomatoes, reserve liquid1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1 teaspoon dried basil1 teaspoon dried oregano2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheesesalt and pepper to taste1 small can sliced black olives (optional, not calculated)
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing well. Add small amounts of tomato liquid until pasta is evenly moistened.
Chill several hours to blend flavors. Mix well before serving. Serves 8.
