Plum Cobbler

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter1/2 cup sugar1 cup flour2 tsp baking powder1/2 cup milk2 cups sliced fresh plumsfor topping-1/4 cup sugar1/4 tsp cinnamon1 cup water
Directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F
Lightly grease 2 quart casserole pan

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in baking powder. Mix in flour, alternating with milk. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into greased casserole pan. Spoon fruit over batter. Mix cinnamon and sugar for topping. Sprinkle over fruit. Pour water over the top.

Bake for 45 minutes.
