Onion Cube Steak

Ingredients
2 lbs. cube steak2 med. onions, sliced2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced1 tsp. canola oil2 cubes beef boullion16 oz. watersaltpepper
Directions
Makes 6 servings.

Preheat oven to 300o. Heat canola oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Season beef with salt and pepper. Brown each side in skillet (2-3 minutes per side); remove to a 13x9 baking dish. In same skillet, saute onions and mushrooms until soft; transfer to baking pan.

Crush boullion cubes and stir in warm water. Pour over beef/onion/mushrooms. Cover with foil and bake for 1-1/2 hours.
