Ingredients
Brown the bacon; discard the fat, blot the bacon and crumble. In a 2 qt bot, brown with the onions. When the onions become translucent, add the garlic and brown for another minute. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until the potatoes are tender, 15-18 minutes. Use a blender or immersion blender to make the soup smooth (we leave some chunks). Add the milk, sausage, crumbled bacon and kale. Season with pepper to taste.
