Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup shortening2 cups sugar2 large eggs1/2 cup molasses4 cups flour3 tsp. baking soda2 tsp. cloves, ground2 tsp. ginger, ground2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
Cream shortening.
Add sugar gradually and cream thoroughly.
Add unbeaten eggs and mollasses and beat until smooth.
Silft flour, soda and spices into cream mixture; mix thorougly.
Roll into 1/2 to 1 inch balls, roll in sugar and place onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Makes 6 dozen cookies.
