Italian Hot Sausage - 24 linksItalian Mild Sausage - 24 linksGreen Bell Peppers - 20Yellow Onion - 10Crushed Tomatoes - 5 lb canDried Oregano - 10 TbspDried Basil - 5 TbspDried Parsley - 10 Tbsp
Brown sausage
In large pot put can of crushed tomatoes. Slice green bell peppers and onions and add to crushed tomatoes. As sausage is cooked, add to tomato pepper mixture.
Simmer a minimum of 6 hours. We found simmering it overnight (12 hours or more) makes it even better.
Serve on sub rolls or over rice.
Freezes great! That's why I make such a huge amount. Great for quick meals.
