Spinach and Crab Alfredo

1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/2 onion, chopped2 Tbs garlic, chopped1 8oz package low fat cream cheese, cubed2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese2 cups 2% milk4 cups imitation crab meat, shredded1 package frozen spinach, defrosted and drained.1 Tbs white pepper1 Tbs Salt
Boil water and cook pasta.
Melt margarine and sautee chopped onion and garlic until onion is clear. Add cream cheese, milk, parmesan cheese, white pepper, and salt. Cook until sauce is thick and cream cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.
Add spinach and crab meat. Heat throughly.
Drain pasta. Add sauce to pasta and stir.
Makes 8 servings.
