Crock Pot Creamy Swiss Steak

3/4C All purpose flour1 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper1 lbs boneless beef bottom round, cut into serving portions2 TBS butter1/2C chopped onion2 cans (10 3/4 oz each) condensed cream of mushroom soup (I use Campbell's Healthy Request)1C water
~In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper
~Coat beef pieces with flour mixture
~Brown the beef in a large skillet in butter
~Transfer to slow cooker and top with onions
~Combine soup and water, pour over onions
~Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours or until beef is tender
~Serve over hot egg noodles (not included)
