Barilla Whole Wheat Spaghetti, 13 ozColeman Natural® Uncured Hickory Smoked Bacon (12oz package)Onions, raw, 1 cup, choppedGarlic powder, .5 tspEgg, fresh, 4 largeParmigiano Reggiano Shredded, 1/4 cupCheese- DiGiorno Shredded Romano Cheese, 1/4cupPepper, black, 1/8 tsp Salt, 1/2 tspWhite Wine, 1/4 cupParsley, dried, 1 tbsp
Boil and salt 4 quarts of water for the pasta.
Cook bacon until browned. Remove from pan to drain. Leave 2 tbsp of bacon fat in the pan to brown the onions. After onions are browned, degllaze the pan with white wine.
Combine Eggs, Garlic Powder, Salt, Pepper, Parsley and cheese in a separate bowl.
When the pasta is cooked(aproximately 9min) drain immediately and place back in pasta pot. Then add the onion mixture to pot and mix thoroughly. Then add egg mixture and combine. Serve immediately in bowls and top with cooked bacon.
