Chocolate Ginger Scones

Ingredients
3 cups flour, 2 tbls baking powder, 1 1/2 tbls ground ginger, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, pinch allspice, 1/2 c. turbinado sugar (plus extra for sprinkling), 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. vegetable oil, 1 1/4 c. non-dairy milk, 1 tsp. vanilla, about 5 oz. chocolate
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix dry ingredients. Smash chocolate bar with knife. Add wet ingredients. Mix quickly. Fold in chocolate. Lightly grease pan. Scoop dough and place on pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
