My Dad's corn bread

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups corn meal5 tbsp flour1 tsp salt2 tbsp oil (I used olive oil)1 1/4 cup 1 % milk3/4 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven to 450.
Sift together meal, flour, baking soda and salt into bowl. Add milk and egg to dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Add oil to bottom of pan ( I use small round cast iron pan) and heat pan with oil for a few minutes in oven or on stove top. Once heated carefully pour batter into pan. Bake 20 minutes.
