10 oz liquid from young thai coconut (fresh is best, or use canned- try to find unsweetened). 1/4cup cashews, 1/4 cup chopped dates, 1 med carrot( cut into 3rds), 1/4 of a peeled beet., a splash vanilla, agave or maple syrup to taste and about 10 frozen strawberries. May also add yogurt, kefir, flax, etc to taste.
pour coconut water into high speed blender first, then rest of ingrediants, except for strawberries. Blend on "smoothie" setting , or on high for about 90 seconds. Then add frozen strawberries, and some yogurt if desired, blend again for about 90 seconds. Works best in a Blend-tec or Vitamix blender or similar.
