Onion & Mushroom Stir Fry (Reduced Sodium )

1 lb onions4 teaspoons canola oil4 teaspoons unsalted butter4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced2 teaspoon ground ginger1 teaspoon granulated sugar1.5 lb mushroom, sliced4 teaspoons low sodium soya sauce2 teaspoon sesame oil2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1 Wash mushrooms well.
2 In large frying pan, heat oil and butter over medium heat.
3 Add onions, garlic and ginger.
4 Stir fry one minute.
5 Add sugar, cover and cook for 1 minute.
6 Add mushrooms and stir fry for 2 minutes.
7 Remove from heat and stir in soya sauce and sesame oil.
8 Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately
