Buttermilk Frosting

Ingredients
1 LB (2cups) Confectioners' 10-x Sugar1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened1 tsp vanilla extract3 tbsp milkfood coloring optional
Directions
In a large bowl, beat together sugar, butter, vanilla and milk until smooth. If neccessary, add more milk until frosting is spreading consistency. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring. Stir to blend.

Spread on cookies or cake

    I didn't have food coloring so the grandkids added cocoa powder to one bowl and frosted the cookies with vanilla and chocolate frosting. Very smooth and creamy -- low fat & low carb -- and delicious. - 12/23/20
