Cream of carrot

Ingredients
8 carrots2 cups rutabaga1 cup onion8 cup chicken stock (homemade is better, of course)
Directions
Put everything in a big pot
Add a little salt, pepper, chives and thyme
Bring to a boil
Let simmer for about 45 minutes
Put about 1/4 of the pot at a time in a blender and transform into liquid
Add water if needed
Serve hot
Makes about 10 cups
