Easy Granola Bars

3 C quick cooking oats1, 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk (low fat used in this recipe)2 tbsp melted butter1 C flaked coconut1 C sliced almonds1 C miniature semisweet chocolate chips1/2 C sweetened dried cranberries
Makes 18, 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 inch pieces. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 X 13 pan or cover with aluminum foil.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended (mixture will be thick).
Place the granola mixture into the prepared pan & press the entire surface flat.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how crunchy you want your bars. Lightly browned just around the edges will give you moist, chewy bars.
Let cool for 5 min., cut into squares, then let them cool completely.
Store in an airtight container.
Note: This recipe is adaptable to any combination of dried fruit, nuts or any other tidbits you like in a granola bar.
