1 box (2.5 Lbs.) Gharardelli's Candy Making and Dipping Bar1 container (16 oz) Spanish Peanuts
Start heating water in bottom of a double boiler. Make sure the water is high enough to contact the top boiler but not so high as to boil over. Break the chocolate in pieces and place in the top boiler. Carefully watch the water and reduce to simmer when it starts to boil. Continue to simmer until all chocolate is melted. Add peanuts to chocolate. (May want to add additional peanuts but not included in nutrients). I use a tablespoon to dip the chocolate/peanut mixture and place on parchment paper. Size of mixture is bound to vary from one dip to next. This will make from 100-120 candies. (Portion control is easier if the candies are small)
