Chicken and Mushroom Fettuccini Alfredo

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds chicken breast tenders2 (8oz) packages mushrooms1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper1/4 teaspoon garlic powder2 packages ( 8 oz each) cream cheese cut into chunks1 cup (2 sticks) butter1 1/2 c grated parm cheese1 1/2 cup whole milk 1 package fettuccini
Directions
Cook chicken. While chicken is cooking, cook pasta according to package instructions.

Stir together cream cheese, butter, parm cheese, and milk in medium sauce pain over medium heat. Whisk constantly until smooth and heated through. Add chicken and mushrooms. Simmer 5-10 minutes. Serve over pasta.
