Ingredients
Directions
1 large egg, beaten1/2 cup stuffing mix (or 1/2 cup of bread crumbs)1 lb ground turkey (I used 94% fat free, I don't recommend using ground turkey with less fat as the meatballs come out tougher)1 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp water
This is a basic recipe and is meant to be altered to suit your tastes! Feel free to play around with it!
Preheat the oven to 350 and grease a baking sheet with the olive oil.
I use stuffing mix instead of breadcrumbs (Wegmans is my local store brand). I used a handheld blender to turn the stuffing mix into bread crumbs, but feel free to use bread crumbs.
Mix the egg, crumbs and water together. Add the turkey and mix together by hand.
Form meat into slighly smaller than golf ball sized meatballs and place about 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 5 minutes.
The nutritional calculation on this recipe is based on 27 meatballs.
