Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)Garlic, 3 cloves (remove)*Cumin seed, 2 tsp (remove)Paprika, 2 tsp (remove)Allspice, 1 tsp (remove)*Brown Rice, medium grain, 1.5 cup (remove)Vegetable Broth, 1.5 cup (remove)White Wine, 6 fl oz (remove)Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 cup, chopped or sliced (remove)Turnip Greens, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Turnips, 1 cup, cubes (remove)
Saute onion in hot oil. Add garlic and spices and cook till aromatic. Stir in rice, add stock, wine and tomatoes. Cook covered until rice is tender. Add vegetables and return lid. Cook 5 -7 minutes or until veggies are tender. Serve immediately.
