Real White Lilly Cornbread

Ingredients
2 cups White Lilly Cornbread mix.25 cup vegetable oil1 large egg1.5 cup 2% milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray 8 inch cast iron skillet with cooking-oil spray, or add vegetable oil (not included in nutritional analysis) to coat. Preheat skillet until very hot.
While skillet is heating, mix all ingredients until just blended in bowl; do not over mix.
Pour into hot skillet. Bake about 25 minutes until golden brown. [It's even better if bacon grease is used rather than cooking oil, but who has time to cook bacon and carefully save bacon grease these days??]
